Hosted at Eagle Rockdale Community Garden
Join the Garden Council for a special cooking demo and fundraiser with Chef Jocelyn Ramirez—NY Times recipe contributor and founder of Todo Verde. Hosted in the heart of the Eagle Rockdale Community Garden, this Plot-to-Plate experience will bring together fresh, local harvests and true-to-culture plant-based cooking in community.
We’re proud to be newly welcomed into 1% for the Planet, thanks to Chef Jocelyn’s nomination—and we’re aiming to raise $5,000 to support our mission of growing gardens and gardeners across Los Angeles.
Born and raised on the Southeast side of Los Angeles, when Chef Jocelyn made the choice to change to a plant-forward lifestyle, she wanted to create a space that provided healthy and craveable food options that spark meaningful dialogue about food as medicine. She founded Todo Verde as a community focused initiative with an intersectional lens.
