Lennox Community Garden was a vacant site left over following the construction of the 105 Freeway in the 1980s. The community garden opened in 2012, but is currently closed due to CalTrans policies.

This community-built space was developed for the community to convert a vacant lot that blighted our neighborhood and to offer our neighbors multi-benefits to enhance our health and well-being; during the pandemic the Lennox Community Garden has served as a safe haven for our neighborhood that felt the brunt end of the pandemic and where food insecurity rose.
