U.S. Rep Sydney Kamlager-Dove at our garden
Nestled in the Los Angeles neighborhood of West Adams lies an oasis. Good Earth Community Garden sticks out like a bright green dot on a blank canvas, a contrast to the loud rush of cars whizzing by on the hot blacktop of nearby major cross streets Jefferson and La Cienega Blvds. As part of the LA Community Garden Council, we are committed to fostering sustainable urban agriculture and promoting environmental stewardship.
However, maintaining and improving our garden requires resources, and we rely on the generosity of individuals like you to keep our garden thriving. Your donation will directly support:
- Garden Supplies: Seeds, soil, tools, and other essential gardening materials.
- Educational Programs: Workshops and classes on gardening, sustainability, and healthy living.
- Community Events: Activities that bring neighbors together, such as harvest festivals, potlucks, and volunteer days.
- Infrastructure Improvements: Building and maintaining garden beds, irrigation systems, and composting facilities.
- Youth Programs: Engaging local youth in gardening and environmental education.
