Founded in 2015, Echo Park Community Garden is a small but mighty volunteer organization dedicated to growing and harvesting nutrient-rich food, diverting waste from landfills, strengthening our local ecology and learning through our diverse community. The garden has a variety of fruit trees, 10 individual garden plots, a community growing space, a picnic table under a shade trellis and a four bin composting system.
Everyone is welcome to visit and volunteer at the garden. Stop by on Tuesdays at 4:30 p.m. to contribute to our composting project. Or, swing by on the first Saturday of each month from 10am-12pm to get your hands dirty as we garden in community. RSVPs are requested.
